Course of treatment

The photo series documents the successful course of treatment. Pictures 1 to 6 show the progress of an orthodontic tooth position correction that was carried out exclusively with the help of FaceFormer® therapy.

Initial situation

At the beginning of treatment, there was a clearly anterior (front) open bite with a dominant opening on the left side. The lower jaw showed twisted incisors and malpositioned canines.

Interim status

A significant improvement was observed after just a few weeks. The open bite was significantly reduced and the teeth in the lower jaw began to align. The canine position also developed in the direction of better interlocking.

Final result

After just three months of regular FaceFormer® therapy, the bite in the anterior region had increasingly closed and the teeth were harmoniously aligned. The interdigitation of the canines and premolars has improved and is approaching the desired correct occlusion.
