MODULE 3
Nightly Application
Goals
- Seal the mouth to the outside with the FaceFormer membrane
- Maintaining the negative pressure conditions in the mouth and throat
- Stimulating tissue tension in the mouth and throat
- Stimulating tension in the tongue and soft palate
- Maintaining and stabilizing the airway passages
- Continuous closure of the mouth
- Getting used to nasal breathing
- Lips: Sensitization and stimulus reception via FaceFormer lip wedge / increasing the tension of the lip muscles
- Development of neuronal patterns
- Unconscious stimulus-responsive microtraining
After 2-3 weeks of regular exercises, insert the FaceFormer also at night.

Exercise Routine
Nasal breathing
Your nasal breathing improves noticeably after about 2-3 weeks of FaceFormer training.
From now on, the FaceFormer will also be used at night in addition to the daily exercises.
Use while sleeping
Place the FaceFormer as described under Fundamentals – Starting position.
Nightly application ensures:
- Nasal breathing and mouth closure
- Negative pressure in the mouth and throat
- Strengthening of muscles and tissue
- Stabilization of the position and tension of the tongue, soft palate and pharynx
Nightly FaceFormer application supports the habituation of nasal breathing.
Repetitions
Repeat the exercise as indicated.
