Breathing Exercise
Goal
Applications
For all users. For all diseases, especially:
- To improve breathing
- All respiratory disorders
- Allergies
- Metabolic disorders
- Degenerative diseases of the nervous system
- Snoring, sleep apnea
- Voice disorders
- Obesity
Exercise Routine
- Place the FaceFormer as described under Basics – Starting position.
Place one palm on your stomach below your breastbone. - Breathe in and out slowly through your nose.
- Feel how the abdomen rises as you inhale and falls as you exhale.
Feel your belly
- Press the lip wedge together firmly with your lips.
- Breathe in for 6 seconds in a single long breath.
- Breathing pause: hold your breath for 5 seconds.
Meanwhile, bite down once and swallow at the same time
Press lip wedge together and inhale
- Relax your lips around the lip wedge and exhale for 6 seconds.
- Breathing pause: increase in small steps for 5-40 seconds (see exercise scheme below).
- Start the exercise again.
Relax lips and exhale
Repetitions
Repeat the exercise as indicated.
