FaceFormer® Training
Exercise fundamentals for correct application
The constant and correct use of FaceFormer training therapy is a requirement for success. The training is carried out throughout the day, at least two to three times. The repetitions of the exercises are gradually increased. All exercises are always combined with the basic exercise.
Let the FaceFormer training app guide you. It provides various settings, reminds you of the exercises and logs your progress.
After 2 to 3 weeks of daily training, the FaceFormer is also used at night in addition to training during the day, i.e. worn without active training. This does not mean that from now on you also have to train at night, which is not at all possible during sleep.
Starting position – positioning and orientation of the FaceFormer
- The FaceFormer is placed in the oral vestibulum.
- The mouth shield is behind the lips and in front of the teeth.
- The lip wedge is directed outwards.
- The lips surround the lip wedge relaxedly.
- The lip wedge is aligned horizontally.

Position of the tongue tip
- The tip of the tongue is located a few millimeters behind the upper incisors on the palate.
- There, the tongue tip feels a small bulge. It does not touch the teeth.
- This position of the tongue tip is always maintained. It is the natural, correct posture and must become a habit.

Head position and straightened neck
The head is upright and the neck is stretched. This natural proper head posture is always maintained and must become a habit. It determines the head balance, body posture and body statics.

Posture of the lower jaw
The upper incisors are in front of the lower ones.*
Do not push the lower outward.
The temporomandibular joints adjust to a natural, relieved position.
*Exception: If the lower jaw is protruding, the usual position can be maintained.

Nasal breathing is essential
Get used to breathing through your nose!
Nasal breathing is crucial for good health. FaceFormer training systematically develops it. Nasal breathing must become habitual and automatic, unconsciously and even when sleeping.
