FACEFORMER® Therapy
The success of FaceFormer therapy has been documented many times by scientific evidence and patient reports. Even patients who had previously been treated unsuccessfully with other methods for many years showed improvements after a short time when using the FaceFormer method. They were often only guided by the brief instructions enclosed with the FaceFormer.
However, professional users of FaceFormer therapy cannot content themselves with brief information. Successful work requires a broad understanding of the therapy. The FaceFormer is the training device with which FaceFormer therapy is carried out and this is based on a comprehensive concept of theory and practice.
FaceFormer therapy is based on neuroscientific research approaches. It aims to treat dysfunctions in cranio-cervical interaction segments using exercise therapy.
If such deviations exist, functions are compensatory – a common cause of numerous disease developments with different symptoms. Symptomatic treatments are fundamentally unsuitable for bringing about lasting improvements: pharmacological, supportive, guiding and restraining aids only work – if at all – when applied immediately. Symptomatic long-term therapies often exacerbate the disease. Without corrective exercise therapy, behavior, habits, movements, postures, tensions, patterns and reflexes cannot be changed and functional pain cannot be resolved. However, exercise treatments can also be unsuccessful if they ignore neurophysiological regulatory mechanisms. If exercises deviate too far from physiological patterns and the developmental-proximal course, treatments are unnecessarily prolonged and the desired success does not occur.
FaceFormer therapy places functional relationships in a causal context and highlights relevant diagnostic features. The exercises are precisely oriented towards physiological patterns of dominant basic functions and their complex functional chains. They create central stimuli and thus the successful conversion of dysfunctions.
The seminar discusses the theoretical and practical principles of FaceFormer therapy, relationships between causes/symptoms and its position in the context of other methods.
